and a compartment in her chair opens up, and a squirrel skeleton comes out, and does a little, ―Hello my baby, hello my honey, hello my ragtime gal- across the table.

—Travis McElroy

Rainer Michelle is a villain at Hieronymous Wiggenstaff's School for Heroism and Villainy who specializes in necromancy.

Physical Description[]

Rainer has been described by Travis McElroy in Part One: Orientation as "a smiling, shining young woman with long blonde hair, sitting in a very ornate floating chair."

She rides a totally pimped out magical, floating chair on account of a chronic illness that causes it to be difficult for her to walk or stand. The chair has multiple extra features including underglow lights and multiple compartments, one of which includes a squirrel skeleton.

History[]

Rainer is the daughter of Gordy, a powerful lich necromancer known as the Undying Lord. She takes after her father in her gifts for necromancy. Most notably, she has a squirrel skeleton that she can reanimate to do a (deeply troubling) dance.

She is good friends with Thunderman LLC, and has provided her assistance on many of their escapades. Most notably, she agreed to do whatever she could to help them fight The Demon Prince, Gray. She's particularly fond of Fitzroy and it is implied she may have romantic feelings for him, though Fitzroy never indicates that these feelings might be reciprocated.

She is friends with Buckminster Eden and Leon.

Trivia[]

  • She is named after dear friend of Travis McElroy, Rachel Miner.
  • Travis headcanons that the master carpenter who built Rainer's chair was Magnus Burnsides from the Balance Arc, though he stresses that this is non-canonical, and just an Easter Egg he included for himself.[1]
  • Rainer becomes The Lich Queen in the version of the future that Chaos presents Fitzroy with in his dream in episode 19.
