Adelaide[]

An attendant who does secretarial work at the Benevolent Parish. She hurt her shoulder breaking down the door to the Hand of Guidance's office after realizing it had been locked from the inside, and is presumably the one who found Guidance's body.

Beck[]

A young girl who appears in the Arc 1: The Gallery Job; she is originally a pirate on Emery's ship. Devo takes her and Skittles to Brother Seldom after Emery is killed. She teaches Devo to swim. She leaves Brother Seldom's care in Episode 38 after purchasing a small ship for herself and Skittles.

Chauncey[]

A big and slightly clumsy boy who works at the Cloaca. He turned twenty-one years old during Episode 37. In Episode 38, he moonlights as an information broker named The Beholder, and planted a magical tracking device on Benefactor Orlean.

Cobalt Star[]

One of the attendees of the Abyssal Auction. They are selling a the last known bottle of Hartfield Bordeaux wine, which is from the surface. They give Devo advice on how best to win the journal, and later escape to the docking bay with the Coriolis crew and Aloysius Supreme. Devo believes Cobalt Star may be Guthrie.

Crumb[]

One of the Ethereal pirates who was trapped inside the giant bivalve during Arc 2: The Infinite Clam.

Declan Cern[]

A representative from Hominine and the youngest, most charismatic member of the council. He has three sons: Tolliver, Ravis, and Ustin. When his eldest son went missing, he was unable to drum enough support to put together a search party, and grew disillusioned with the community. When he left his position on the council, Boyar Hermine took his place.

Desdemona[]

Also known as Mona, she owns Desdemona's Haul/Hull/H__l, which is located in the Gunwale and sells ships.

Dillon[]

Urchin's "wastoid" friend who comes aboard the Coriolis for a fun sleepover with his bud.

Dr. Shaq[]

A doctor in Founder's Wake with a blowfish-like face, which he got after contracting the first wave of the Sallow; in his youth, he liked to party and did grotto, although he is not proud of this fact in present day.

Ravi Montrel[]

One of the bosses at the Blue Span Brokerage and the Coriolis crew's manager. He finds jobs for Amber, Devo, and Zoox.

Dolores[]

An older woman and member of the Benevolent Parish. Devo startles her when he curses Benefactor Orlene in the Parish.

Emery[]

A large, barrel-chested pirate who also tries to steal some of the paintings found in the gallery. He is killed by Guthrie in Arc 1: The Gallery Job.

Enos[]

Mint Clackelroy's son from the Prologue. He finances Uncle Joshy's School for Advanced Psychic Warefare Against Blink Sharks.

Felix[]

A giant catfish who runs the Phantom Sea Coast Co. He may or may not be attached to Nermal.

Heretic Knob[]

A well-known inventor and former member of Delmer society. He invented many "modern" technological conveniences such as tone wheels, but was ousted by his community for going against their beliefs by using too much magic in his designs. The Coriolis crew purchased a journal of his that contained a compendium of his blueprints for Uncle Joshy, which Joshy then sold to Benefactor Orlean.

Jeremy[]

A server at the Abyssal Auction. Zoox convinces him to start a workers' revolution. He is later seen rallying their coworkers together as they flee the destroyed station.

Nermal[]

A catfish, owner of Nermal's Pile, and Felix's "better half."

The Silver Stags[]

One of the groups attending the Abyssal Auction. They bid on the kodite.

Skittles[]

An intelligent octopus and pirate aboard Emery's ship; Devo takes him and Beck to Brother Seldom after Emery is killed.

Teddy[]

One of the Ethereal pirates who was trapped inside the giant bivalve during Arc 2: The Infinite Clam.
