The worlds of The Adventure Zone are filled with many fantastical and, occasionally, strange places.

Balance Locations[]

Astral Plane[]

The afterlife for mortals, over which The Raven Queen presides. The Eternal Stockade and the Sea of Souls are located here.

Armos[]

A city on Faerûn. During the Relic Wars, a child living there found the Philosopher's Stone and used it to turn their home and everyone inside of it to peppermint candy.

Bottlenose Cove[]

Main article: MaxFunDrive 2015 – Live in Los Angeles!

A beach resort town located on Faerûn. Taako, Magnus, and Merle visited here during the 2015 Los Angeles live show. [1] After the Story and Song, Lord Artemis Sterling asked Merle to help repair and govern it; Merle accepts and is currently the town's Earl. Also located here: a large manor where Merle currently lives, Chesney's, his bar, the headquarters for Merle's Extreme Teen Adventures, and a guild hall.

Bureau of Balance[]

The main HQ of the Bureau of Balance.

Chaos Stadium[]

Main article: Chaos Stadium

The venue for Fantasy Wrestlemania. Located in the city of Neverwinter.

Chug N Squeeze[]

Main article: Chug N Squeeze

A wine and pottery shop located in the Bureau of Balance HQ.

Cordelia[]

Located on Faerûn. It was one of the cities destroyed during the Relic Wars by the Phoenix Fire Gauntlet.

Fantasy Costco[]

Main article: Fantasy Costco

An independent retail store stocked with magical items and run by Garfield the Deals Warlock.

Goldcliff[]

Main article: Goldcliff

A beautiful and scenic desert city filled with mostly wealthy people.

Miller Lab[]

Floating above the Stillwater Sea, the Miller's Laboratory was the prototype for the design of the floating Bureau of Balance moonbase headquarters. It is the setting for the events of arc 4, The Crystal Kingdom.

Moonshae Isles[]

Located on Faerûn. During the Relic Wars, the Gaia Sash was used to summon a storm that drowned a string of cities built there.

Neverwinter[]

One of the biggest cities in the world of Balance. It is referenced many times, although the Tres Horny Boys do not spend time here collectively. Lord Artemis Sterling is the mayor.

Phandalin[]

Main article: Phandalin

A once-prosperous human village located to the southeast of Neverwinter. Is now just a black, glass circle after the Tres Horny Boys were done with it.

Raven's Roost[]

Main article: Raven's Roost

A large city located on Faerûn. Built on top of naturally formed stone spires, the columns of the city was connected with long, sturdy bridges. Each column was designated for a different section of the city, including the craftsmen corridor, the residential district. Magnus lived here with Steven and Julia Waxmen, and apprenticed under Steven at his carpentry shop.

Refuge[]

A small, rustic town reminiscent of the Old West located in the Woven Gulch.

Rockport[]

Main article: Rockport

A city of industry filled entirely with Tom Bodetts.

Stillwater Sea[]

Located on Faerûn. One of the Judges fell here during the Story and Song, and its body became several wildflower-covered islands. Killian and Carey's wedding takes place at a large temple made of intricately woven wood perched on a bluff overlooking this sea.

Tesseralia[]

One of the oldest civilizations on the 30th world encountered by the Red Robes.

The Animal Kingdom[]

Main article: The Animal Kingdom

A plane devoid of humans and entirely occupied by herbivore animals, even common carnivore species such as wolves are herbivores in this plane.

The Eternal Stockade[]

Main article: The Eternal Stockade

A prison for souls who conspire to escape the astral plane.

The Mushroom Kingdom[]

Main article: The Mushroom Kingdom

The eighth world encountered by the Red Robes. The planet is approximately 80% covered in gigantic bioluminescent mushrooms, that glow in bright neon hues at night and emit thick clouds of spores that are lethal if inhaled.

Wave Echo Cave[]

Main article: Wave Echo Cave

A cave hidden among the Sword Mountains near Phandalin, and the place where the Phoenix Fire Gauntlet was originally kept.

Wonderland[]

Main article: Wonderland

A building located in the Felicity Wilds that was used to trap adventurers and collect their suffering.

Woven Gulch[]

Main article: Woven Gulch

An arid canyon land, located beyond Phandalin, Rockport, and Goldcliff, that is made up mostly of red clay.

Commitment Locations[]

Halleluland[]

An abandoned Bible-themed amusement park located on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana.

The 'Berg[]

A base floating in the middle of the Gulf of Mexico. It is diamond-shaped with three offshoots from each point, each belonging to a department of the DGF.

Kepler[]

A fictional ski resort town located in the real life region of West Virginia.

Hope (a.k.a. Last Hope) is a town near Hieronymous Wiggenstaff's School for Heroism and Villainy.

The Unknown Forest[]

The Unknown Forest is a forest that intersects with the Godscar Chasm near Hieronymous Wiggenstaff's School for Heroism and Villainy and the town of Hope. The forest is considered highly dangerous and deadly to all that enter.
