Dust is the fourth campaign of The Adventure Zone and the third of its mini-campaigns. It is comprised of two seasons, the first airing in February 2018, and the second airing in September 2022. Each season has four primary episodes, plus one of setup.
Premise[]
Season 1[]
In an unincorporated town in the Crescent Territory, tragedy strikes when young Jeremiah Blackwell is killed in the street. As the three detectives (Errol Ryehouse, Gandy Dancer, and Augustus Parsons) attempt to prove Dylan Mathis' innocence, they begin to uncover power struggles, secret relationships, and underground interests that indicate this murder was about far more than one boy.
"It’s midnight now. At 8 a.m. the whole town is going to be awake. Once they find out what’s happening, all hell is going to break loose."
Season 2[]
Augustus Parsons and two other Graysons - Callan and Indrid Cold - are hired to go to Crescent City and bring Pearl Blackwell back to her family in Dry River. When they find her, Pearl agrees to come home - if the Graysons help her with a daring theft from local banker Jackson Blue, who has the citizens of Crescent City in a financial stranglehold. They prepare for Pearl's train heist with the help of her friend Lulu Kagiyama - and find their fates are already intertwined with that of Crescent City in unexpected ways...
